Thank you for the thorough response- I'll get back on #s, I already replaced the door speakers with special low profile on from Crutchfield- to maintain stock appearance, using 80's Pioneer grills that are the same size square as the volvo- giving it a period- upgrade look- unless I find another pair of the same, I would be unlikely to add rear-door speakers simply because of appearance. I'll enlist some experienced help in whether I install the am/fm- did I conclude from your post that you suggest moving on from that one? It is likely that I will buy an overhauled 80's premium receiver, which Is what I was going to do before finding this nos oem unit
