Wire found 700

Not having ever attempted anything like a filament replacement, I can only imagine the hurdles you must surmount will be in forming the Pt wire's loops while maintaining the length and attaining the crimp tension at the support wire's termination. A third obstacle I myself would need to clear has to do with age related loss of steady hand-eye coordination that makes itself known when I attempt needle-threading things like SMT placement. Please let us know how it goes now that you've found the wire. You can power it up and test on the bench, reasonably well, including a check of the burn-off function.
