Hello,

To bypass the neutral safety switch, you need to connect the 2 correct wires together down at the switch on the transmission.

The ORIGINAL neutral safety switch has 4 poles and they are arranged like a clock with connections at 12, 3, 6, & 9 o'clock.

Unfortunately Volvo made all of these wires black, but the wires directly opposite each other on the switch are related.

That is to say the wire at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock with be connected through the switch when the transmission is shifted to the correct position.

I know on a 122 with this switch, that you can easily see that 1 of the wires connected to the switch goes directly to ground and that wire is for the reverse light relay.

So if you can see the ground wire going to the switch, you want to connect the other 2 wires.
