B16 to B20 444-544

I have a 1959 544 with a B16 and would like to swap it out with a B20 out of a 1800. I hear from some volvo conrads that vI will have to change the front crossmember or the radiator support to except the B20. Others have told me I don`t have to. Do I have to change it? crossmember? radiator support? and if so, why? The body is solid with little rust so it a good canidate for a cruiser for my dad. He had one of these when I was very young and remember him burning out in it. Would like to get it reliable and give it to him and say thanks for all you`ve done for me. Thank you fellow Volvo peeps!
