87-740 distributor bolt fell into the bell housing! Bummer! 700

When I intalled the aw72L several years ago, I either didnt notice, or forgot there was a hole back there. I was very abruptly informed today, after working on the distributor. I couldnt locate one of the bolts, so I used a spare.
When I started the car there was all this clatter, and after further investigation, Ive concluded that the bolt is in there.

Long story short: What are my options?

Thanks board. I think I know the answer, but Im am forever hopeful there is something to be done, short of pulling the tranny.

Thanks all.
