Gas Smell in trunk 120-130

Since we got our 122, a pinhole leak in the fuel filler neck has been a problem. Jbweld plugged the leak for about a year until they started putting %10 ethanol in the gas. This caused it to soften and leak.

I pulled out the tank and resoldered. This worked great for a few months until the solder developed a pinhole leak. Probably from a gas station attendant leaning on the pump handle during filling.

I tried silicone and that lasted about 3 months.

Now I have found a product that really seems to do the job. It's a product called Seal All and it is gasoline and alcohol resistant. I cleaned up around the leak with brake cleaner and applied a dab of the seal all. It sets up in a few minutes and if the first application does not get rid of the leak, you can apply more.

So far, it has worked great and if it ever develops a leak, I can just apply more without removing the old stuff.
