1987 Volvo 780 alarm deactivation. 700

I have a Volvo 780 1987 B280f Auto that Im trying to get started and think it may be the alarm system givin me fits. Previous owner said it needed a fuel pump but got that to run manually jumping two terminals from the relay. When everything is plugged in and I turn the key nothing happens. If I unplug the alarm box on the drivers kick panel it will turn over but no fuel pump action and if I bypass it to run manually still no start. Does this alarm also affect the ignition? I have not checked for spark but what would keep it from working if not. Is there simple way to disarm it, I probably wont even use it really. I have read take the fuse out, unplug it or jump some pins on a certain plug or device, or unhook the battery and put on key position II. I also do not have the key fob or want to spend money to get one if I can avoid it.
