steering rack replaced & bled, still shudders while turning... 200 1989

All,

Any thoughts on this?

I finished up the install this morning. Ran through a quart of new power steering fluid. All new hoses, new pump, new rack.

I bled the system as described in the FAQ and I got lots of air bubbles. Before I set her down I checked one more time and all seemed to be well.

I took her out for a quick spin and the steering would shudder while going round turns. One side was definitely worse than the other but I can't remember which side.

Any thoughts? Do I just have to drive for a couple of days till the remaining air works it way out? The rack is definitely a CAM not a ZF.

Please advise as to what I'm missing here.

Thanks,

Matt
