544 Brake/suspension Upgrades 444-544

just acquired a 61 544 and trying to determine direction
-ex CA car, interior gone, no engine, partially disasembled

It was destined previously to be a reto rod....which is still a possibility, but I'm leaning toward a "semi-stock" build leaning to a streetable historic racer style (I'm previous SCCA racer)

While hunting down a new engine, figured i could get the rolling chassis in shape

Would need to upgrade brakes (disc).
Seen some how-to's w/ 122 sourced pieces...
- is anyone packaging a kit?

Likewise w/ the suspension, need to replace all the soft pieces, as well as a sportier spring/shock package.
- and recommendations? kits work best for me probly...

And lastly, if anyone HAS a 544 built to Historic Racing specs, (near MidOhio best)certainly would like to review some chassis prep, cage construction ideas
