244 DL Stalls Intermittently 200

Bought this sweet '83 DL Sedan a couple of weeks ago. She's beautiful inside and out and runs like a dream. The previous owner had new fuel pumps put in, relays, computer, wiring harness, injector wires, and more. It looks like half the components are new under the hood. I couldn't imagine why someone would put so much money into a car then turn around and sell it. The test drive was peachy and she went like a dream for the 35 miles home down the CA 805 [San Diego]. Then on the way to work the next day she stalled in traffic after about 15 minutes on the highway. She started right back up after a few cranks and we went on our merry way. Happened again on the way to work the next day, then the next. Right before the stall the engine revs up. It does this every time before the stall. I started it in the driveway and let it run for about 30 minutes and it did the same thing. Checked for spark, looks good. But it does take a few cranks to get it to start so it must be fuel? I've checked fuses and all of the electrical connections that seem obvious. The rev up before stalling seems like the key to the mystery. Any ideas?

TLDR?; Car runs great, has plenty of power, but then it revs up and stalls after it's warm.
