Question regarding my clutch line from the master to the slave cylinder.

At the master there is a metal line that connects to a hose which then connects to a short looped metal line that connects to the slave cylinder.

I can't seem to buy this short looped metal line anywhere..? Is it standard or a repair?

Can I buy a clutch hose and go from the master metal line directly onto the slave cylinder with a hose?
