Trailing arm bushings. Not what I expected. 200

Hi board,
My 90 240 is at 200,000miles. I expected my trailing are bushings to be obvious toast when I finally got to them. I was going by the way my rear end tends to skip sideways in a sharp turn, and the way my rear end feels loosey goosey. But they dont look bad at all. Not crumbling, no obvious tears.
The question is: Can these bushings "look" good, but still need changing? How can I judge this? I dont wont to do the work if its not needed.

Thanks for any help

LaRue.
