Advice about dropping/mounting M40 transmission 120-130

Hello:

I am planning to drop the M40 tranny so that I can replace the old oil seal housing with another one that has be modified to use modern-style oil seal.

I have experience with dropping trannies on 240s and other non-Volvo cars. I don't anticipate any problems doing it on such a mechanic-friendly 122, but if there are any advice, tips or cautions that I should know (including remounting) please let me know.

Many thanks! Oh, I have a clutch alignment tool but it was used for 240s. I suspect it won't work with 122 because of spline difference, but please confirm.

-DS
