axle swap? 120-130 1967

Furst time here, and I have a quick question. Does anybody here know if it is possible to swap out a 122 stock rear axle assembly with drum brakes for a stock 240 rear axle assembly with disc brakes? I did a search for specs and found that the rear track for the 122 is 51.9 inches, while the rear track for the 240 is 53.7 inches. Not a huge difference, and I would still have plenty of clearance with the Rota (Panasport style) wheels I am using. Any info appreciated, Thanks, Steve
