1989 240 Bucking/Hesitating Then No Start 2-1-4 Code 200

http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/EngineOBDCodes.htm#LH24FuelInjectionFault

http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/EngineOBDCodes.htm

Socket Six: EZK Ignition system OBD socket code 2-1-4
RPM sensor signal absent intermittently
Faulty RPM sensor, wiring or incorrect installation

Secure your OHM / continuity meter to the two of three pins specific to the crank position sensor and wiggle the wire. The Ohms / continuity may vary.

The third pin is a ground bare ground wire. Inspection may reveal the outer sheath insulation may have failed. Rear valve cover seal (half moon shaped seal) and a missing dual clip securing that wire to the (I believe) oil dip stick tube allows the wire to wiggle during operation redicing servive life and hastening failure.

FCP Groton sells these. Made by Bougicord; the Volvo OEM providor.
