Beg to differ Ken. I know my'76 244 had Girling rear calipers. And checking the RPR catalog (an excellent reference in my experience) I see the Girling rears were used on the '75 and '76 242/4 (but not on 245).

Repair kit Rear wheel brake (GIRLING) Hardware kit 272641, 242, 244.
