is there anything unique or special about a volvo 240 battery 200

hi sages- had to buy a volvo battery. bought a duralast battery with a 7 year prorated warranty , 3 year free replacement from autozone, cost 108 exchange. cost at dealer was a few thousand. other ones were similar price. made by johnson controls in america. old battery would not hold charge. new battery shows 12.5 v . charging system ok- shows 14v at idle. noticed battery looks different than a regular flattop of similar size. wondering if there is anything special or unique about the volvo battery for the 240. what think you? thanks tons oldduke
