Hallelujah to Brickboard's help on the center drivetrain support!! 120-130

I posted a question a couple of days ago on the brick board asking help: The link to my question and the responses are below:

http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/volvo/1537292/120-130/help_unlocking_flange_center_shaft_support_nut.html

Bingo! Problem solved. Here are a couple of pictures I did based on the advice/tips from the responders:

One pipe wrench on the weld bead (NEVER below) and other one gripping the 1-5/8 socket fitted over the nut. Using a pipe wrench on the socket and right above where the nut is offers more leverage and direct force than if using a socket wrench.

Inserting pipes over the wrench handles give additional leverage. Pieces of wood were used for stability and also keeps the flanges from bending against the floor.

Even so, it took almost all of my strength and weight pushing down on the pipe before the nut finally broke free!! The threads were very sticky like glue...probably from very old grease.

Doing it on the floor was the key to success...I had tried it on the bench with a vise, but the amount of leverage needed was just not there.

I hope by submitting this, it would help others who may face the similar problem as there were not many postings on this particular topic.

Cheers and thanks again to those who had shared their bits of advice.
