AW70 to M46 conversion 200

I know that this swap has been covered fairly well over the years, but I cannot find a definitive answer to my question...

I recently found an 83 240GL in the local P&P junkyard and it has an M46. My 92 245 that it would be going into has the AW70. With the cable driven speedometer of the older M46, what will I need to do to make this work? I also read someone saying that they weren't sure if the older B230 bellhousing bolt patterns are the same as my newer one.

Anyone care to shed some light on this? I would hate to go through all the trouble of pulling all these parts out, only to find its a no-fit or a modding nightmare!

Thanks!
