IPD/Sachs clutch kit - throwout washer? 120-130

So here's the background: my '67 came with an automatic. I picked up a M40 and associated manual trans bits from a pre-'66 car (maybe a '64? It is a hydraulic clutch master/slave though). For the swap I picked up the IPD Sachs clutch kit. It came with a cryptic sheet of paper that said that some transmissions need a washer on the throwout fork otherwise the clutch may not engage. I believe it said that this was only for post-'72 transmissions, but I've gone and lost the sheet of paper.

I do remember the washer had a Volvo part number and the sheet said it could be ordered. Can anyone clarify if I need this, or how I can tell? I'd hate to get this transmission installed to find out I can't disengage the clutch.
