Why did I do it !? 200

Oh ya, I did a front to rear poly bushing upgrade and have wished I NEVER did.
A successful job indeed but the after math has been frustrating and far to disappointing to think this is something I should have done.

Can you say VIBRATION!!! ohhh...Man. Remember the magic fingers beds at Motel 6?
I paid way too much for mine!

Did it all by the book and through several posting of info here on Brick Board and after the rear trailing arm and torque rod bushing went in, I have yet to have a normal driving "91" 240.

Went through the drive-train and replaced u joints, transmission mount and motor mounts. Working on the center support bearing by this coming Saturday.

Re-positioned the rear drive shaft a couple of times thinking it might be out of phase by a spline notch or two. No change so it's back to the exact position with all yokes equal as in the manuals.

Re loosened rear trailing arms and torque rod bolts, Dropped car on wheels and re torqued those bolts. Did the same to front suspension too. So it's all under load except for the pocket bushings up front as I torqued those during the assembly of the pocket poly bushings.

I checked the distance of the possible rear shifting to the right and found it to be within a 1/4". Mine other 1990 is out a full 1/2" inch and has zero vibration.

So if the people here want to reopen all the postings that I have read on vibration and re-give any thoughts as to what next, I would be elated!!

In fact what I think is next is to dump those poly's and go back to the infamous rubber bushings that have lasted over 20 years. AM I RIGHT???

Don't be shy lets give thought and make this thread that largest feedback ever on rear bushings and vibration!
