94 940 no start, Low battery? strange symptoms 900

Car started with difficulty. Sounded like battery was low. Jumped it and started right up. Ran a few minutes and wouldn't start again. Thinking brushes.

However none of the lights on the cluster light up as I've seen in the past on the 240. The alternator is Volvo Denso

The battery has been in the car about a month and don't think it is the problem. All the connections on the alternator seem good and all the grounds as well.

I'm not good with electrical testing so any help would be appreciated
