fast idle-still. 200 1989

Well, the brick is down to 9.76 mpg. (last fillup yesterday) Seems maybe that fast idle issue is eating up the mpgs. I usually get about 17 in town, which isn’t the best anyway for in town with an A/T, but 9.76 is -----yeah---:(Þ~~~~.

Since that fast idle developed, mpgs have been slowly--”retreating“--?? I wonder how far down it can go?? Spent many $$$ trying to locate and fix the cause of the fast idle, might be time to spend even more $$$ searching for the cause. Hard to believe “professional” Volvo mechanics -- can’t--well--. Its only mone

People here who responded with suggestions the last time I posted about this had good ideas, just didnt "pan out". Anymore thoughts?? Thank you.
