One-way valve in breather to manifold line on a turbo - pointless? 700 1990

1990 740 turbo

The title says it all. I think I asked about this a long time ago, before I realized that the large line to the pre-turbo intake would be at negative pressure (at least relatively to the manifold)... so:

Will adding a one-way vacuum valve to the line from the small nipple on the breather box to the manifold do anything? Or is it redundant because the larger line will be an "escape route" to any positive pressure from the manifold?

Cheers
