It`s in the most retarded position they could find. Like Art said, behind a little metal panel where you would normally place you left foot. You get to pull the molding surrounding the lower door sill so you can get enough room to pull the carpet away. The plate has one bolt holding it in place. I guarantee you will relocate the relay to a more convenient place after you find it
