whoops! moment... 200 1993

Hey all,

If you`re doing any maintenance work like pulling the oil separator box, and you have to unfasten the clamp for the engine wiring harness that attaches to the top of the box, (gee, my `86 didnt have that)um... make sure you cover the holes with a rag! (I didnt) The little 8mm bolt went flying and though I didnt actually see it go down either hole, it sorta makes for a sobering moment.
When you do this task, you have to pull the top of the box toward you so you can get the extension on the bolt. This requires tension so when I backed the bolt out, whoops it went flying! I`m hoping its down under the motor mount or somewhere...
For now, I`m cleaning up all of the intake components as I believe is a first for this car.
I`ll be doing a head gasket job soon when the weather cools. I`m still trying to decide whether to put in the VX cam but that`s another story.
