At first thought, this may seem as odd as thinking there is a relation between your right ear and your left foots' big toes' toe nail, even tho its all part of one body.

S0 with that thought in mind, what could an automatic trans in an '89, 245 Volvo have in relation with the idle speed of the engine, if any, in the same vehicle? (consider, in particular, the flex plate, if it happened to be installed incorrectly or damaged.)

Apparently there actually may be a "relation", (the car) but what it is, if any, is way past my feeble excuse for a brain. Thoughts?
