Hi all,

Does anyone know the exact differences between a power side mirror for 86 cars and up and the one for a 84/85 car?

I need a right side power mirror for my '84 and haven't been able to find one yet, however, it seems that it is easier to find them (used) for 86 and up. Does anyone know if there are any fitment issues and not just a slightly different shape to the mirror?

Aside from that, does anyone have pictures of the actual mirrors for an 84 car?

I installed electric mirrors myself years ago, but now I'm wondering if I did install the 84 version as they seem a tad small and different in shape from others I see.

I sold the car then bought it back and during that time, the right side electric mirror went missing and was inexplicably replaced with a manual one.
