water pump in a 240 120-130

Just asking here because some of you are multi platform and I'm strictly B20 (meaning 122) and earlier.

A friend has an '88 245 and the water pump is leaking and he's got a new one being delivered this afternoon.

Any hints about differences in this R&R? Need I remove the radiator? I will be able to check my phone after I get there.

I guess I could post on the 240 forum, but I don't know any of those folks.
