found the problem 200

i removed the rear axle shaft from the passenger side.

it was easier to cut the retainer ring and out bearing shell right off the axle than set up my press.

upon removing the bearing i found in the concave grove of the inner part of the bearing housing .....fully half of the diameter of this concave groove is pitted badly from lack of lubrication in the bearing.

i also found NO inner seal at all.
