Fuel Line Material 200 1990

Hi,

I have had a strong fuel smell coming from rear area of my 90 244. You can smell it sometimes in the trunk and underneath the car at the rear.

Cannot figure out where it's exactly coming from.

I am suspecting the green hard line. What is this line made of? Nylon? I think this is the line the routes vapors from the tank up to the charcoal canister.

I have checked the archives and read up on things. I have some dye on hand suitable to use in the fuel as I can't seem to locate the problem. The smell comes and goes. On hot days sometimes it's unbearable.

Thanks in advance,

Travis
