High idle after intake cleaning 900

Rpm needle up to about 2 while idling. Just had all the intake off so something's amiss. When I remove the bellows end of the hose that routs from the top of the flame trap to the bellows, idle returns to less than 1 but creeps back up in 20 seconds. Any idea?
