converting my 83 headlight switch to 86+ style ? 200

I'm stuck with no replacement headlight switches in the yards around here and I need one quick. I do have an 86 parts car that I'm thinking about upgrading the headlight switch with the relay so I don't kill my battery leaving the lights on. Anyone have experience with this and could point me in the right direction? Is it difficult to do the conversion? I really need some headlights asap. I got home the night it broke by holding a nickel to the contacts that were showing once the switch broke. But that is a difficult task and the nickel gets hot. Maybe I'll have to just tape the wires together and pull the fuse until I get a switch.

From my readings in the archive it appears that the 83 has issues with overheating at that switch due to having no relay. I'd really like to do the conversion if its not too time consuming. Thanks.
