Ignition amplifier ? 200 1992

The IA has just 4 weeks ago been re-heat-sealed - the previous seal was completely gone. Maybe the overheating due to missing seal already damaged the IA.

I have an offer for a good used one $ 22 and also found a new one for $ 80. So fairly cheap assurance.

Now I don't know if this is relevant but after driving it some yesterday - no stumbling but the idle is getting wonky again (a little too high and a bit choppy) - I felt for heat. The IA was warm, the ignition coil was almost hot to the touch, and fuse # 6 was hot to the touch. When I ran my hand past all the fuses without touching, I could feel a lot of heat radiating from # 6. Contact, tension, fuse (ceramic) all good. Is this normal? Fuel pump relay was warm but not hot.
