resurrection, re assurection of 93 200

I'm trying to resurrect a 1993 sedan that has been sitting for 1 yr. with no start. I want to replace the crank sensor but can not get my hands to the unit, there seem s to be very little clearance compared to other 240s I have owned.

I have raised the transmission housing still not enough clearance. I'm considering removal of 1 or both motor mounts and dropping the motor for clearance.

Alternate idea would be to drop the subframe, motor and mounts together.

I have tried to convince daughters in their mid 20s that they should give a go, no interest.

Any advice would be appreciated.
