780 nivomat replacement

hi all-
replacing nivomats in 89 bertone.
everything i'm reading says to remove plugs from underneath carpet and trunk to access the top bolts.
removed three plugs and the only one big enough for a socket or a finger or two to fit leads nowhere. the other two plugs are too small for even my extension to fit.
in the smallest hole, with the tips of my fingers i can feel something that feels like it's threaded. had i been born made of elastic, i could maybe reach it from one of the smaller holes.
so where do i find this damn bolt? do i have to remove the rear seats? if so...how?

sorry for the poor quality had to save as low quality so it would upload. the hole in the front does not appear to lead anywhere. the two in back are too small. maybe i am overlooking something obvious. thanks for your help.
