780 nivomat replacement

You are going about that wrong, I can assure you. One horizontal bolt in the wheel well as in all RWD Volvos. Then two obvious bolts vertically at the bottom, and the assembly drops down. You need a little clearance for the drop but hardly anything could be easier. I do this in the pick and pulls and never work inside the car or fiddle with seats. At most, I have to dig a bit in the hardback to drop the shock down. Its pretty sweet finding nice shiny new Nivomats for $3-$30 a pair.
