re: 87 245 auto - greeting from swedish baklava 200 1987

Hi all,

It's a little late for self introduction but it's better than never.

Please say hello to my Swedish Baklava. I named her after rusty floor pan that looks like baklava. Few years ago, I was looking for a comfortable commuter car that can handle 100 miles/day without breaking my wallet. After searching for the right car, our entire family members came to an agreement and decided to give this Volvo a try. By the way, we always have owned Japanese cars like Honda and Toyota since we got burned with our 85 Lincoln/Mercury Marquis 3.8 V6.

I have put more than 50k miles on her with proactive maintenance program and it's running better than ever.

I just want to thank you all for helping me. As we all know, it's very difficult time for many of us including our family. You can call me "desperate" but I need my Swedish Baklava to take me to places where I need to be.

I have learned a lot about this car since then and enjoy learning more about it. My ultimate goal would be able to replace the head gasket by myself near future.

Once again, thank you so much!!!
