OEM coolant or others just as good? 200 1993

greetings fellow brickboarders-
I'm about due for a coolant flush so I called local Volvo dealer parts dept to see about buying OEM coolant for the job. Guy in parts dept told me not to waste the extra $ and just go with good coolant/antifreeze from any Autozone or parts store. I was thinking the extra few bucks for the OEM coolant was worth it based on what I've read around here on the board and have to admit I was kinda struck that he didn't seem to really want to sell it to me.

What do you guys think? Is something like Zerex G05 just as good for the job? Are there other premium brands that are just as good? Thanks in advance!
