POR-15 vs. Frog Tape 120-130

Any one played with POR-15 and Frog Tape to mask off? POR-15 goes on so strange that it's like honey and then gets super runny before it dries. I'm wondering if anyone has tried using Frog Tape as masking POR-15 paint? The tape says that it's designed for latex paint but may or may not work with other types of paints. I'm thinking that the POR-15 will run under normal blue painters tape.

The project in question is the sealing area under the front and rear seals of a 122. They need to be treated but I don't want any runs onto the paint.

Thanks
Chris
