Dual post oil sensor 200 1992

As a project, I installed an oil pressure gauge with a dual post oil pressure sensor. The sensor and guage came off an '83 240 GLT. To mount the sensor to the B230F block ('92 240), I used a recommended adapter, male 14mm to female 1/8"NPT. As I feared, there is interference between that sensor and the alternator when I swing the alternator closer to the block in an attempt to mount the drive belts (two 9.5x918 Volvo OEM p/n 973536).

So, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and can offer a good solution. I'm thinking of two options.
1. Size slightly longer belts, hopefully OEM, or
2. Replace the dual post sensor with the original sensor. Then, pigtail a second lead off the single post to connect to the dash gauge. Is this a viable option?

For the fun of Volvos,
Mike
