Shoulder belt buckle jam 120-130 1967

It seems like the spring in my driver's side shoulder belt buckle has twisted or jammed. The buckle doesn't retract fully so it's hard to both clip and unclip it to the retainer. I've lubricated it so that's not the problem. It's marked Part No. 669179, which I can't find as a separate item in the Volvo parts catalog. I'm tempted to drill out the rivets that hold it together, but thought I'd ask if anyone has had this problem. I may have to replace it, in which case, does anyone have an extra?
