Transmission won't shift out of first 900

Hi everybody
I have a 1994 940 Turbo, with 169,000 miles, for the past year the transmission has been shifting kind of hard from 1st to second, did a transmission flush and adjusted kick down cable back then to no available,my daughter has been driving it like that for the last 11,000 miles since the flush with no problems.
Today the transmission will not shift out of 1st gear, has reverse,it stays in first no matter what i do,i checked the fluid and it looks clean and full with a nice pink color, the kick down cable looks fine and free.I have been doing some research but for no available.
I appreciate all help you can provide.Thank you as always.
Charles
