Relocating a Regina O2 to the manifold? 900

Anyone ever done this? Typically when I have a later ride with the O2 at the end of a 50ft line under the car, I swap in an older manifold and relocate it so I can install an aftermarket cat, not to mention the ability to more easily change the O2. I haven't looked at the O2 up close but seems to me these are much longer than a normal Bosch O2 (?!)

I'm curious if anyone ever did it with no side-effects.
