Using plastigage 120-130

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We did.

I also had the opportunity to use plastigage to measure the clearance between the rods and journals.

Results: the squashed plastic line was barely as wide as the .003 measurement indicator on the gage.

Which means the clearance is over .003.

And to be sure...when I got the plastigage kit, it came with two colors, red and green. Is there a difference which I should use (I had used green)?

Anyway, with the clearance being above .003, which rod bearing size should I get? Standard?

By the way, I also meausured the journals all around...all looks good.

Thanks,

-DS
