1993 Volvo 940: Very Slow Coolant Leak

I have A 1993 Volvo 940 which is experiencing a very slow coolant leak apparently between the 3rd and 4th cyclinder along the head gasket. I have to replace about 50 ml of fluid every 60 miles or so. The leak is very slight and I have experienced no overheating issues... Short of replacing the head gasket, has anyone every experienced this problem and can it be resolved by introducing stop leak in the form of powdered aluminum metal into the coolant (much the same way to stop a minor radiator leak)?

Any advice will be appreciated...

Thanks,
