745T Bendix brake slider seized 700 1991

Hello,

I just purchased a 91 745T with M46 as a third/winter car. I previously had a sedan configured the same. Both cars metallic silver! The car has been driven little in the last few years but earlier in it's life racked up 260k miles (US car imported into Canada). The brakes are not effective so I'm going after the slider and the first one I go after is seized. The rotors and pads look like they have few miles on them (no lip on the rotor) but they are rusty. I have sprayed some PB in the boots as best I can to try to help in freeing up the slider.

From what I read the top slider can be left alone if it moves? Mine does.

Any other ideas or experiences to share on how to free the lower slider? Right now it looks like new caliper which means battling with the hoses (which look ok). I would let my Indy take care of replacing the caliper if I can't get the slider moving.

Thanks for any responses.

Cheers,
Sean
