Master cylinder messed up threads 200

When bench bleeding new master cylinder, my son & I apparently grabbed one old brake line with wrong threads for the bench bleeding. So we messed up the threads on where one of the lines exits the MC. Leaks about 3-6 oz./week. If I cleaned it up really well, is there any caulk that would hold? I hate to throw away a new master cylinder. Any ideas? Thanks.
