Brake line to caliper 700 1991

Kind of dumb question but -- started to work on brakes a couple months go..got calipers "wrong in the box"; also got the wrong rotors.(I should have double-checked) ANYWAYS, back to work, I didn't mark the flexible brake lines and one got stuck to the copper "body" brake line (i.e. the one that comes out of the body of the car), its the lower line as you look at them when they come out of the wheel well.. Should i hook that one up to the lower caliper piston/intake ? Or vice versa?
Thanks again guys, I just could not find a diagram or picture of this
