possessed TPS sensor

Transmission locks up too fast which gives me a jerky ride. Transmission mechanics suspect lock up solenoid problem.

Just in case i tested TPS as specified by volvo. I have voltage and resistance as specified by Volvo so TPS appears to be working just fine.

I have no CEL light and no transmission codes, no arrow, no flashing WES.

i disconnected TPS, CEL came on and a flashing arrow but transmission no longer locks up too fast and i have a smooth ride. i tired again and again and every time TPS is unpluged my ride is smooth.

How is it possible that a working TPS when unpluged gives me a smooth ride, no fast gear switching and lock ups??? How to understand all this?
